Allscripts / Veradigm Today
The rebranded platform and where it fits.
Allscripts rebranded as Veradigm in 2022 following corporate restructuring. The platform ecosystem includes Allscripts TouchWorks (large ambulatory), Allscripts Professional EHR (small-to-mid practice), Sunrise (hospital), and Veradigm network services (revenue cycle, life sciences data, registries). Our work focuses on the ambulatory platforms — TouchWorks and Professional EHR — where practices are actively using the system or planning migrations.
TouchWorks configuration covers specialty-specific template work, HL7 interface engine support, PM integration, claim scrub, registry reporting, and workflow optimization. Professional EHR covers the smaller-practice segment with typically simpler configuration but similar workflow fluency requirements. Vendor-agnostic — we configure what you have, whether that's ideal long-term or not, and advise honestly on migration paths when the platform isn't serving the practice.
Allscripts Specialty Fit
Allscripts TouchWorks deploys across family medicine, internal medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, psychiatry, dentistry, dermatology, pediatrics, and other specialties. Allscripts ePrescribe integration is a legacy strength — the Allscripts ePrescribe infrastructure predates many competitors and has deep pharmacy network integration.
For practices considering migration: see Allscripts vs. eClinicalWorks. Migration paths commonly lead to Epic (hospital affiliation), athenahealth (cloud-first), eClinicalWorks (value pricing), or staying on Veradigm with optimization. Migration planning at EHR migration services.

How an Engagement Starts
Our process is structured, documented, and starts with listening — not pitching.
Step 1 — Discovery call (30 minutes, no obligation). Practice owner or office manager. We listen. What's working, what's broken, what's the immediate pain point. No pitch, no vendor pressure, no slide deck.
Step 2 — Scoped assessment. On-site or remote — we inventory infrastructure, EHR environment, cybersecurity posture, vendor contracts, and clinical workflow patterns. Typically 2-5 business days depending on practice size. Deliverable: a written assessment with findings and prioritized remediation recommendations.
Step 3 — Proposal and engagement structure. If Allscripts/Veradigm EHR support is a fit, we propose an engagement — scope, pricing, timeline, measurable outcomes. No long-term lock-in contracts on first engagement. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you directly.
Step 4 — Onboarding and delivery. Structured 30-60 day onboarding with clear milestones. Documentation, tooling deployment, knowledge transfer, and operational handoff. You know exactly what's happening and when.

Why Qventive, Specifically
Not a pitch — a factual description of how we're structured differently.
Healthcare-exclusive since 1994. Every engineer, every helpdesk technician, every account manager works only with medical practices. No retail, no law firms, no logistics companies. That focus has operational consequences — our on-call engineer at 2 a.m. knows what a downtime toolkit is for Epic. Our helpdesk understands that “the EHR is slow” is an emergency, not a ticket.
Steve Gerbino founded this company in 1994. The founder still answers questions. The depth of specialty and clinical workflow knowledge compounded over three decades is genuinely hard to replicate — and it's why we serve solo practices, group practices, multi-location practices, FQHCs, ASCs, concierge medicine, hospital-adjacent practices, and PE-backed platforms with equal depth.
Observe-Improve-Prevent methodology. Every engagement starts with observation — shadowing providers, auditing infrastructure, reviewing documentation. We don't assume. Then we improve based on what we actually see. Then we monitor continuously to prevent drift. This isn't a marketing slogan — it's an operational pattern baked into how our engineers work.
Geographic proximity. Our Bergen County headquarters in Hackensack means fast on-site response across NJ. We're not a 50-state remote-only MSP. When something needs hands-on work — new infrastructure, physical troubleshooting, device deployment — we send people. Frequently Asked Questions
Detailed answers from 30+ years of healthcare-exclusive IT.
What Allscripts versions do you support?+
TouchWorks EHR and TouchWorks PM for ambulatory practices, Professional EHR for small-to-mid practices. Sunrise (hospital) support is hospital-scale and typically goes through Allscripts/Veradigm directly. Legacy migrations to current Veradigm offerings.
Is Allscripts still a viable platform?+
Yes, for existing installations. Veradigm continues development on TouchWorks and Professional EHR. For new implementations, the platform is less commonly selected than Epic, athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks — market share has shifted. Existing installations remain supported.
Can you help migrate from Allscripts?+
Yes. Allscripts-to-Epic (hospital affiliation), Allscripts-to-athenahealth (cloud-first), and Allscripts-to-eClinicalWorks (value pricing) migrations common. Typical 4-8 month engagement depending on data complexity. See EHR migration services.
What's the Veradigm rebrand affect?+
Functionally, minimal for end users. Branding changed. Company strategy shifted toward network services (revenue cycle, life sciences, registry) alongside the EHR products. Support agreements continue under Veradigm branding.
Do you support Allscripts ePrescribe?+
Yes. ePrescribe is a legacy Allscripts strength with deep pharmacy network integration. Configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with current Veradigm platform or post-migration to new EHR.
Can you configure Allscripts for specialty workflow?+
How does Allscripts compare to eClinicalWorks?+
Different architectural approaches. Allscripts TouchWorks has deeper enterprise configuration; eClinicalWorks has cleaner smaller-practice deployment. See Allscripts vs. eClinicalWorks.
